The bows themselves
I make bows for all string instruments - both violin and viol family - for both 17th and 18th centuries. I offer bows made from a variety of European indigenous woods - maple, yew, cherry, pear, plum and beech for the earlier 17th century - and from tropical hardwoods - ironwood, pernambuco, and mainly snakewood.
