The Violin Family
I make bows for the entire violin family - violin, viola, cello, and viola (or cello) da spalla - for the 17th and 18th centuries. I offer bows made from a variety of European indigenous woods - maple, yew, cherry, pear, plum and beech - and from tropical hardwoods - mainly snakewood, but also ironwood and pernambuco.
